The course is for Neonatal and Paediatric Consultants, Trainees, Specialty Doctors and ANNP’s interested in learning and improving their POCUS skills. No prior experience in ultrasound is required. 

Day 1: Hybrid Lectures (online & F2F):

â–  Basics and physiology of lung USS
â–  Normal and abnormal lung ultrasound findings
â–  POCUS for vascular catheters
â–  When vascular catheters go wrong
â–  PDA haemodynamic assessment
■ Looking at the Heart – the basics
â–  Ultrasound of a collapsing baby and ET tube position adjustment
â–  Case Presentation 

Day 2: 

â–  Practical Hands on sessions
â–  Interactive video session
â–  MCQ evaluation
