Safety Alert: Bath seats
Providing safe bathing advice to families on discharge.
Following the tragic death of a baby in a bath seat last year, the NHS has updated its website on bathing babies to include the advice 鈥渘ever leave your baby alone in the bath, not even for a second鈥 and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents recommend baby bath seats are not used.
