BAPM's membership has now passed 2,000 members. ÈâÊÓƵrepresents all roles within the perinatal team - neonatologists, paediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, midwives, trainees, network managers and other health professionals that are dedicated to shaping the delivery and improving the standard of perinatal care in the UK.
ÈâÊÓƵPresident Eleri Adams said: "It is fantastic to see how ÈâÊÓƵcontinues to grow as an organisation. The breadth of support from you, our members, means we get lots of ideas for how ÈâÊÓƵcan help to improve care for babies and their families in addition to improving resources for the membership.
"Our wider reach as the largest of the paediatric speciality groups also means we are the go-to organisation nationally for all matters neonatal and we work closely with RCPCH and Bliss to influence and support policy and standards for neonatal care. We could not do this without the active support of our members, who are all volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has made ÈâÊÓƵthe thriving organisation it is today and please keep spreading the word."
ÈâÊÓƵis here to support all those involved in perinatal care to optimise their skills and knowledge, deliver and share high-quality safe and innovative practice, undertake research, and speak out for babies and their families.
Our vision is for every baby and their family to receive the highest standard of perinatal care.
